About My Montana Farm
Welcome to My Montana Farm and Pattern Company located in southeastern Montana near the foothills of the Beartooth Mountains. Hannah describes her beloved farm as "twenty acres of land where the prairie meets the mountains." During the spring, summer and fall Hannah and her family grow lots of things including pumpkins, gourds, carrots, ornamental grasses and shrubs and these products are for sale locally and seasonably.
Spring Creek flows through the farm and near the creek Hannah has planted over two hundred native and ornamental willows and birch. Her plantings of shrubs and trees provide food and shelter for all of the birds and animals that live in the area as well as provide Hannah with the material she uses for dried arrangements that she offers for sale.
Hannah believes that inspiration is everywhere, no matter where you live or what you do. Her greatest inspiration is nature and trying to mimic it to create unique crafts using mostly natural materials. Needle felting with wool roving is one of her passions and the long Montana winters are when she takes the time to create her personally designed line of patterns and kits. Hannah says, "Needle felting really is so easy and rewarding, as you can have a finished product in a few hours. I hope to inspire people to make their own little birds and have as much fun with needle felting as I do!"
